For those of you that know me, I have a lot of different interests from the web, to social media, to saving money.... Wait, there is a company that does all three of those?! Well, some of you may be familiar with FatWallet and some may not, whichever category you fall into, this post should provide interest to both.
First, those that are not familiar with FatWallet. FW is a site that provides a user based network of savvy shoppers to alert one another on deals and coupons across the web. Aboutus.org says the following about FW:
Shopping online has become one of the most successful trends in the last years. It attracts more and more people because it is easy, simple and comfortable. However, there are so many online shopping services, that it can be very hard to choose the right one and to make sure that you make sure that you have made the right choice. This is where FatWallet.com steps in. FatWallet.com offers you the opportunity to compare prices and products and to share your opinions with hundreds of other users.
What does this mean for you? It means you now have a resource to search for some of the best deals on the web and in times like these that can help...A LOT. Be aware that FW is not the only service like this on the web. There are many different services available and each has their own unique proposition or benefit. If you know of some other sites, post them in the comments section below.
So, for those that are familiar with FW. I don't have much to add that you probably don't already know. In fact, there is a lot you could probably teach me, however, I did want to alert you to their new coupon search functionality. Now, instead of digging through a ton of posts to find a deal, you can simply search on the store of choice and see what deals pop-up, sweet.
Post in the comments section some great deals that you have found on FatWallet or any other deal-finding website?

Yesterday was a great day! Not only are we putting the finishing touches on our new "Gen Y" checking account called First Access, but we also had the honor of being the first guests ever on Blue Sky Factory TV. For those not familiar with BSF TV, it's a live-streamed show by our email service provider (Blue Sky Factory, Inc.) which is done right our of their CEO's office. Very cool. Not only did we get to talk with Greg Cangialosi (President & CEO of BSF) about 1st Mariner's online strategy and some of the cool things we are doing on the web, but we also got to answer questions live by those viewing the show.

Could there be a 1st Mariner TV in the future? Let me know if you would like to see one and what topics you would be interested in by leaving your suggestions in the comments section below.
