Winter / Summer Savings
Our Winter / Summer Savings accounts are designed to help you save money for the winter holiday season or for summertime adventures. Setting money aside while keeping your funds separate from your primary savings (or checking) account is a smart strategy for saving for seasonal expenses.
At 1st Mariner Bank, we offer two special savings plans: a Winter Savings account and a Summer Savings account. Both savings accounts share the same features and allow you to withdraw your funds at the beginning of the season for which you’ve been saving. You can even schedule automated deposits to your Winter or Summer Savings account from any 1st Mariner Bank checking account.
Features & Benefits:
The minimum to open these accounts is only $1.
Interest is compounded daily and credited at maturity. Interest rates may change without notice. Fees may reduce earnings on the account.
Automatic weekly or monthly transfer service is available to move funds from Statement Savings or any 1st Mariner Bank checking account.
These accounts automatically reopen the following year by simply making a new deposit.
