New Look
Issuance of deposit account statements will not be interrupted; however, your new deposit account statements will have a new look—much easier to read! Due to the system upgrade, you may receive two statements in the month of October.
Overdraft Protection Statements
Beginning October 15th, if you take advantage of our personal overdraft protection benefits, you will receive an overdraft statement separate from your checking account statement. There will be no changes to the information you receive; you will simply be receiving this information in two separate statements.
eStatements
If you currently receive eStatements, you will continue to receive your statements electronically. You will not have to re-enroll in eStatements. Additionally, you will still have online access to the past 18 months of your eStatements.
After the system upgrade, you will have the option of receiving Certificate of Deposit statements electronically. You will be able to opt in to receive Certificate of Deposit eStatements within your Online Banking account.
You must use Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher in order to view all eStatements. Be sure to download this version or higher if you have an older version.

Between September 17th and October 11th, the 1st Mariner Bank branch ATMs will be upgraded on a staggered basis. When an ATM begins to convert, it will be temporarily unavailable to accept deposits. See our ATM conversion schedule for details. As a reminder, signs will be posted by each ATM before it begins converting. If you need to make a deposit during the ATM's conversion after our branches have closed for the day, you can do so by placing your deposit in a Night Drop depository at any 1st Mariner Branch. Envelopes will be available for deposits next to each ATM. Your deposit will processed the next business day, and a receipt will be mailed to you. All ATMs will resume normal operations again on Monday, October 15th by 9:00 a.m.
Beginning October 15th, all overdraft fees will be assessed the next business day after the overdraft occurs. If you overdraw from your account, you will be able to see your negative account balance that same business day, but the overdraft fee will not appear until the following business day.
For example, if you have $50 in your account and you withdraw $60 at an ATM, your ATM receipt will tell you that your balance is -$10.00. However, depending on your account, you might also have an overdraft fee pending, so your true balance would actually be -$10 less the overdraft fee. This balance will post the next business day.
Your ATM/Visa® Debit Card will still function the same, both during and after the system upgrade. However, after the upgrade, if you use your card as a Pinned POS (when you enter your PIN while using your card), the fee(s) will show up on your statement as one lump sum.
