Beginning October 15th, all overdraft fees will be assessed the next business day after the overdraft occurs. If you overdraw from your account, you will be able to see your negative account balance that same business day, but the overdraft fee will not appear until the following business day.
For example, if you have $50 in your account and you withdraw $60 at an ATM, your ATM receipt will tell you that your balance is -$10.00. However, depending on your account, you might also have an overdraft fee pending, so your true balance would actually be -$10 less the overdraft fee. This balance will post the next business day.
